Paul Foster Case's The Tarot describes the Beast as the unconscious part of ourselves. In Hubbard's science, the "Beast" is Homo sapiens with their sub-conscious reactive minds. Hubbard's system trains in a new system of thought and behavior, that results in Homo Novis and, ultimately, Operating Thetan. They supposedly become "living embodiments of LRH technology." Ref. Note the horizontal figure eight above the head of the woman in Key 8. The symbol signifies the "Holy Spirit."1 Hubbard uses the same symbol to represent "God," "Infinity" and the eighth dynamic The public PR is that "the science of Scientology does not intrude into the dynamic of the Supreme Being." However, Hubbard taught Scientologists that they are gods and makers of gods.
The figure in the Tarot Key VIII Strength (Teth) relates to the Empress, who Hubbard was reportedly in touch with while he was running a confidence trick on Jack Parsons.
1 The horizontal figure 8 ... is the ancient occult number ascribed to Hermes. This horizontal 8 is also a symbol of the Holy Spirit. It means dominion on the horizontal plane.

The Hebrew letter Teth associated with Key 8 means snake or serpent power, seen clearly in the Scientology

Hubbard called this power or life force or current theta;
individual energy space production units he called thetans .The lower triangle is the ARC triangle, of Affinity, Reality and Communication, which culminates in Understanding. The upper triangle is the KRC triangle of "Knowledge, Responsibility and Control.
Scientology claims to transform thetans into Operating thetans (OT). Scientology teaches beginners that while they think they are Homo sapiens in meat bodies, they are really thetans, and that his Bridge will take them to Homo Novis and beyond to OT. The way to OT is the Bridge to becoming "living embodiments of LRH technology."
In Book of Thoth, Crowley replaced the tarot card Strength with Lust. The female on the Beast is
Babalon.

I violated the Keeping Scientology Working by writing an essay I titled Scientology: Soul Hackers. When Scientology found out I was the author, they forced my daughter to disconnect from me. When I demanded a refund, Scientology issued my SP Declare .
Scientology's enemies, including former Scientologists who speak out against their abusers, are seen as Frankenstein's monsters who are completely taken over by their reactive minds. According to Hubbard, SPs act out their evil intentions with non-stop crime, fighting a battle that does not exist. He called them Suppressive Persons , SPs, antisocial personalities, merchants of chaos and merchants of fear . Scientologists know from the Suppressive Person doctrine that their very survival depends on shattering SPs.
The Suppressive Person doctrine is what makes Scientology a societal menace.
