Scientology ® and the IRS

Scientology promotional material abounds that encourages their membership to take advantage of their ill-won tax exemption. In this tax exemption, up to 50% of Scientologists' annual income can be deducted if donated to the Scientology organization. The Scientology Bridge ® (Hubbard's mind control programming system) can cost upwards of $300,000 per member. Scientology's registrars use "hard-sell" techniques to extract "donations" from their members.

Ads such as the one above appear near year's end in every major Scientology publication. Scientology mails out this type of copy in postcards, publication inserts and as advertisements in their periodicals.
